Newer Sig Sauer slides are machined – not stamped – and have a different sight mounting. Only machined slides have the external mounted extractor; stamped slides have an internal extractor. The HIVIZ front sight models SGLW08 and SGLW06 fit the new machined slides. Sig pistols with a stamped slide require the HIVIZ SG2015 front sight.
