The mold halves are clamped together and then lathe-bored for unmatched roundness and size control. This mold has a tangential cut off which eliminates the nib at the sprue, creating the most perfectly round balls possible.
All Lee molds are made from CNC-machined aluminum for its exceptionally consistent casting performance and light weight. These bullet molds heat up and cool down faster than iron or steel molds and are also rust-resistant.
