The Ruger 10/22 Tactical is an excellent choice for just about any type of rimfire shooting activities. What separates the Tactical from the rest of the 10/22 models is the fact that it comes with a barrel which is threaded 1/2x28 and comes capped with a Ruger Flash Suppressor. The barrel is a cold hammer forged barrel with 6 groove rifling sporting a 1:16" twist rate. The Alloy Steel receiver and barrel feature a satin black finish. The 10/22 is known for the reliability of the rotary style detachable box magazines, and this particular rifle will accept any of the new large capacity magazines. The extended magazine release and Weaver style rail are nice little touches that finish the rifle off nicely.
