Springfield! 2020 rimfire
I waited two months for this beautiful rifle to hit the Canadian market after it was released. I’m so glad I was able to get one. It’s an excellent .22 Great for target and hunting and what I love about this rifle is I can use ruger 10/22 magazines. I've had so far no jamming nor feeding issues with ruger or Springfield's own version. I like the adjustable trigger pull which I have set to 4lbs. For optics, I mounted the vortex Diamondback 4-16x44 FFP MRAD. It is an awesome scope I must say. So, all in all, I’m happy with the rifle. I have seen a lot of people give it poor reviews, but I myself haven’t had any problems with it or any magazine issues at all, nor have I had any shot grouping. My shot placement is less than 1" at 50 yards. Springfield is true to what they advertised as long as you use good quality ammunition. I’ve used cci stingers, mini mags, for low quality and still have ok accuracy bulk federal and Winchester wildcats. I definitely suggest, not recommend, as what is good for me may not be the right fit for you, but I do suggest this rifle. That is my experience, and if you want a good quality made/smooth bolt with a 60° throw that takes 10/22 mags, then I say this is a good choice for a decent price.
