Hornady Heavy Magnum, Coyote Ammunition was designed to deliver lethal results with minimal pelt damage out to 50 yards. Each shell is loaded with 1-1/2 oz nickel plated lead shot. This lead shot payload is delivered in a tight, dense pattern because of the VERSATITE wad which has a range-extending baffling system that strips the wad cleanly from the shot string for exceptional pattern density.

Promising coyote load
Looks like these things hold a pretty tight pattern (through a mod. choke anyways). The Vertsatite wad however means they have to either short pellet count or reduce shot size in order to get 15 pellets in there. From what I've been able to gather online they're not quite 00 sized pellets. Haven't cut one open to check for myself and haven't patterned them on paper either. I bought the last 5 boxes here before the great shortage of 2020-2021. Not about to waste them on paper ... they will however drop a coyote like a sack of potatoes :)
