Product Description
Check out the energy delivered by our Green Lightning—approaching that of many centerfire cartridges—and you’ll see why so many deer have checked out because of them. In independent tests, Green Lightning’s penetration surpassed competitive slugs from Hornady, Lightfield, Remington, Winchester and Wolf from a minimum of 25% to a whopping 67%. At 100 yards, its accuracy (five-shot groups) was an impressive 2.95”. Most of the others, much worse. One of our heaviest slugs, at 1 1/4 oz., delivers devastating power at longer distances. The distinctive green coating helps reduce barrel fouling, too. Not that you should need more than one shot.
- Lead point with ribs that point to the right ensure smooth choke passage
- Patented rear slides into point after the impact
- For both rifled and smooth Barrels
