Not only does this increase surface hardness, but it also reduces friction on moving parts to take our already smooth action to the next level. Details are important, so even the screws are stainless.
While Henry remains partial to their genuine American walnut stocks, they’ve opted for a stained hardwood with a carefully engineered coating that is formulated to stand up to wear, tear, scratches, moisture, temperature variations, and the angst of the various “character marks” that an everyday outdoor tool will inevitably pick up during its lifetime.
